Miehen Linja launched at 1st of March in 2005. Miehen Linja is intended to immigrant men who have used violence in their families or other intimate relationship or to those who fear that they might use violence.

Men who have used violence in their family can join our domestic violence intervention programme which includes both individual meetings and peer group sessions. Peer groups are currently held in Finnish and in English. The  peer group can only been joined via individual meetings.

Additionally Miehen Linja also organizes social integration groups for culturally homogenic men. The group method is called Dusti. (Dusti means friendship). The subjects in the group involve integration to Finnish culture and family life. The phenomenom of violence is reviewed in a informatic and general way. This gives an oppurtunity to examine domestic violence in an safe environment. Also the transition to the domestic violence intergration proramme is easy for the clients.
